“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8 KJV
Study Questions:
In what ways does knowing God’s no-matter-what love change how you relate to Him? It changes everything! How could it not, Lord! It is mind blowing that You know everything about me… good and bad… better than I know myself… and STILL love me… NO MATTER WHAT!! Unconditional love is like no other love I have ever known! And I fall more and more in love with You every single second!! Thank You for loving me!! I absolutely love You the same way…. NO MATTER WHAT!! ❤
How does God’s love for you change your love for others? Lord, Your love does wonderful things for all of us, whether we know it or not! I am grateful that You have allowed me to come to know it, and thankful that the Holy Spirit allowed my heart to believe it! Before Your wonderful love, I was scared of people, weary of people, untrusting of people, and growing further and further away from them. My poetry used to reflect just how painful I thought love was… referring to jagged knives, shattering glass, deep daggers, graves for the innocent… romanticizing death… and writing love letters to suicide. You created in me a love for others through the love I had for You and Your word. It began out of duty to Your word, and a sense of obligation to someone I loved so much. And to know that Jesus loved them so much that He died for them. You loved them so much that You allowed Your Son to make that painful sacrifice. Eventually I loved them too. Now I have a world full of church family and friends. I even have family on WordPress that mean so much to me. It breaks my heart to know so many are suffering right through so many trials. I especially think of our dear Caz! Lord, please bring her healing! Bring her good doctors and nurses! Bring her needed supplies and funds. Bring her comforting friends that she can trust to be there with her and for her… at the hospital and at home. Bring all my friends healing, comfort, finances, wisdom, direction, peace, health, employment, family, and the many things You have laid on their heart. And thank You for when You bring them to mind, as You did this day on the Parkway to make a video for them to ride along with me in one of our favorite places that I am always mentioning to them. I don’t even mind that I felt like I talked too much. My friends want to spend that time with me, and I want to spend that time with them! I praise Your Holy name for the day we will all be together to praise You forever! I love You and them!!! NO MATTER WHAT! Thank You for the Friend we all have in Jesus! ❤
“But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.” – Job 32:8 KJV
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” – 2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV
Oh Dear Lord, what a beautiful thought! Ideal Inspiration! That is what You are, and what Your Holy Word is! The most ideal inspiration I have ever known! Your love is an ideal inspiration, and I am grateful to know it, to feel it, to share it!
Both verses of the bible that have the word inspiration bring the glory back to YOU!
YOU inspire the spirit of man to understand. YOU inspired the disciples to write Your doctrine that we call the Holy Bible! And I easily believe because YOU inspire me every day, all day, throughout the day and night! ❤
So You can imagine how delightfully surprised and deeply touched I am that You would think of me when You whispered to Rising Star of Ideal Inspiration Blog to nominate me for the Ideal Inspiration Blogger Award. A beautiful idea! A majestic picture! A thoughtful gesture from one of Your children to encourage and share with others. Thank You for Rising Star‘s heart. Bless him and his blog, Dear Lord. Let him know how much You love him. May He be ever inspired by the most Ideal love ever… found in You! In Jesus ideal and inspiring name, Amen! ❤ Thank you, Rising Star, for your thoughtfulness in the nomination for Ideal Inspiration Blogger Award. A great opportunity to love one another, to encourage one another, and to uplift one another. May the Lord bless you and your blog, and continue to inspire you every hour! He delights in you! He loves you!

Rising Star’s Questions For Me:
What inspired you to start a blog?
It was a place to go talk with God one on one privately. At one point, He led me to encourage a friend by doing a challenge on her blog. At the same time, I followed His lead to trust Him in opening the settings of my FB and WP to Public. I’ve had to go back to Private on my FB, but so far so good on WP. (Praise His Holy name). So many would respond how they were encouraged or needed something I would post. It is HIM they have seen. His Love! So I make every effort to proclaim two things. (A) That Gail Loves God! (B) ❤ And to tell them God Loves You! 🙂
What inspires you to write?
The Love of God ❤
Who is your ideal person?
The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit in One ❤
How long do you think you will blog?
As long as the Lord allows
What else you do along with blogging?
Write poetry (gaillovesgodspoetry) and encourage others
Nominees, please do not feel obligated to participate. If you do, no worries on rushing. Do as God gives you! I just wanted you to know that God uses you to inspire me, and I treasure seeing Him inspire you! God loves you each one! You inspire Him!
Praise Your Holy and Beautiful Name, Jesus! Glory to God in the Highest! Honor to the Lord God Almighty!
In Your leading, in desires to tell the world about Your wonderful love towards me, and to tell them of the unconditional love You have for them, You have given me a journey of praise, sweet fellowship, beautiful friendships, a world of support (literally), and endless outpourings of Your love, both ways, flowing through all parts of Your creation!
4 years of being able to tell the world… Gail Loves God… and… God Loves You!
Happy Anniversary with WordPress.com!
You registered on WordPress.com 4 years ago.
Thanks for flying with us. Keep up the good blogging.
Thank You, Father, for every post, every comment, every beautiful soul You have allowed me to know. Whether they are still blogging, taking a break, or simply deleted their accounts altogether since, thank You for the time You allowed! I pray for each one!
Thank You for each award, tag, challenge, and all forms of sharing You allowed me to praise You in, tell the world of Your love, and that You allowed me to share how much You treasure them.
Thank You for every prayer You have allowed me to give and receive, and to share in together.
Thank You for every moment You have given me to cheer, for every hardship You walked me through, for everyone who walked through them with me, and for the many things You have allowed me to walk through with my community.
Most importantly, thank You that no matter where we were in the journey, whether up or down, whether joy or hardship, that You were praised, lifted, and kept first! For every time You allowed someone to see Your love in all things! Your faithfulness in all moments! And Your goodness in all challenges!
“And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.” – Acts 4:36-37 KJV
Thank you, Charity, for nominating for The Barnabas Award! Your name is very fitting! You are filled with love for others! I am blessed that you have shared with me! 🙂 May the Lord continue to bless you and your blog! Me and God love you! ❤Here are the guidelines:
– Thank the person who nominated you and share their blog.
– Think of five bloggers that encourage and inspire you and nominate them.
– List five things about yourself.
– Answer the questions you got asked.
– Lastly, ask your nominees five questions. Why five? Because it is the number that signifies grace.
“You have been chosen for this recognition because of the encouragement and inspiration you bring to your readers.”
5 Things About Me
1. I love my Abba Father! ❤
2. I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! ❤
3. I love my Holy Comforter! ❤
4. I love God’s Holy Word! ❤
5. I love God’s hymns! ❤
Charity’s Question for Me
1. What inspires the topics you write about on your blog? The love of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! ❤
2. Who is the person that encourages you the most? My precious Holy Spirit ❤
3. What Bible verse inspires you the most? I have so many! I love God’s word! But the one He currently brings to mind is the one above regarding Barnabas because I have been told by so many that I am a Barnabas.
“And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.” – Acts 4:36-37 KJV
I first did not understand what that meant and was told that it meant I was an Encourager. When I later read God’s word referring to Barnabas as the son of Consolation, that touched me so because many need encouragement and consoling. If the Lord gives me even a small part in encouragingone or consoling one, praise His Holy name! ❤
4. Who was your mentor growing up? I wasn’t really much of a “hero” kind of child. The closest anyone came to being anything like a mentor to me would have been my granddad who died when I was 8, and then my dad. In my teenage years I had a few teachers who made it a point to mentor me. I am grateful to God for each one!
5. As a blogging community, how can we encourage one another more? Communicating our love for God! Communicating God’s love to one another! Patience and kindness to one another.
My Questions for My Nominees
Do you know how much God loves you?
What is a fond childhood memory that comes to mind?

How do you console others?
How does the love of God encourage and console you?
Praise the Lord for each one of you and many more! Thank you for allowing God to use you to encourage me and console me! God’s blessings to me through others is endless… just like His great love! He is the greatest Encourager and Consoler of all! ❤ Me and God love you! ❤

God, You are so interesting in how You get me involved socially when I am trying to hide BEHIND the screen as much as possible. You take me out of my selfish mood, and remind how much others are trying to share with us, and how many would love to welcome the fellowship from anyone! We all need a little smile! We all need You! And You remind us that we all need each other! ❤
I love You, Father God!❤
Thank you so much Priyaaka Zealous Homo sapiens of When An Introvert Speaks for the open nomination to Answering 30 Interesting Questions. I rarely do open nominations because it feels so greedy when the Lord has blessed me so much, but then He reminds me the reason He encourages me to do any of the awards and tags… to share!! A little of His love! And a little of His light. So thank you for the opportunity to bless others! 🙂 God bless you and your blog! God loves you, Priya! 🙂
The 30 Questions:
1. What are your nicknames? What do you prefer to be called? My family calls me Brenda Gail. My brother Charlie got everyone in high school calling me Sweets (They signed it all over my yearbooks). Some friends call me Stormy because it’s a nickname for Gail. I am blessed to have souls who call me mom, momma, momma Gail. And there are lots of other nicknames… a Child of the King… His! ❤ However, as you see in my blog all the time, I go by Gail aka gaillovesgod. 🙂
2. How often do you doodle? What do your doodles look like? Anywhere from several times a day to several times a week. Most of it either comes out as just scribble or actual poetry. God is so generous to whisper!
3. What do you do if you can’t sleep at night? Do you count sheep? Toss and Turn? Try to get up and do something productive? I talk with God, read my bible, recite verse, write poetry, or even sing hymns to Him (sometimes singing myself to sleep 😉 )
4. Do people consider you as talkative or quiet? Depends on who and when you ask. I am mostly quiet, but I can be very talkative. Jesus wants me to tell others how much He loves them. Sometime I could endlessly talk about the sweetest love I have ever known. Sometimes I have to pray for Him to give me courage. Sadly sometimes I have to ask for His forgiveness and pray for those I failed to share with!
5. What makes you cry? Disappointing my Jesus. 😦 Seeing Him mistreated. 😦 Seeing things that break His heart. 😦
6. What is your biggest pet peeve? Seeing people intentionally hurt one another
7. How many times a day do you look at yourself in the mirror? Just enough to make sure my teeth are clean, and to make sure it looks like I at least tried to comb my hair (and put it out of my eyes )
8. What is the strangest thing you believed as a child? My dad used to call my soda… cold coffee. I literally thought that coke and coffee were the same thing… just coffee when hot and coke when cold. I use to tell my dad, “Yuck! Who would ruin their coke like that??” LOL
9. What is one guilty pleasure you enjoy too much to give up? A “guilty” pleasure implies a wrong or sinful, or at least harmful pleasure. I have a hard time resisting watching Law & Order… especially the earlier ones and the SVU series. I am NOT a crime buff, a forensics junky, and hate gory scenes! While watching can actually help me some days, it can also pull me away from everything on other days.
10. Who performs the most random acts of kindness out of everyone you know?
❤ ❤ My Jesus!!!!! ❤ ❤
11. How often do you read the newspaper? Which sections? Every few months or so, unless looking for something particular… like obituaries.
12. Which animal scares you the most? Snakes are right up there.
13. Are you more likely to avoid conflict or engage it head-on? Again it depends on when and the situation. I DETEST letting something get the best of me, so I prefer head on. I usually say, “Bring it on.” If it’s gonna kill me to do it… then let’s get it over with. However when it comes to confronting for or on behalf of others, to pray and follow God’s lead is the best thing to do. I try to pray and follow either way!
14. What was the most recent compliment you’ve received? That I send sweet and encouraging messages. God is so loving and kind to me! ❤
15. What question are you tired of hearing? Where is God when you need Him? (Usually said while “celebrating???” being able to kill babies in and out of the womb, while welcoming guns but not God in school, while fighting for one’s right to speak their opinion in school but suing anyone who wants to exercise their right to pray in school (even just silently sometimes), or while secretly paying a sex trafficker to find a “piece of fresh meat to rape” (the younger they are, the more they’ll pay) 😦
16. What is the strangest thing you have eaten? Sardines!! My dad tricked me into trying one! YUCK! It tasted like I had stuck my tongue in a can of oil, and I couldn’t get it off!
17. Do you have a whole lot of acquaintances or just a few very close friends? God is so kind and generous to bless me with an abundance of friends, but I am ashamed to say I isolate myself a lot. (Said for any of my friends who have not seen or heard from me so that you do not think I don’t consider you a friend! Me and God love you!)
18. Do you have a catchphrase?
God loves you! ❤
19. What’s your all-time favourite town or city? Why? Heaven! That’s my home! ❤ I am so homesick!!!
20. If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to? Gail 😉 Because it is not my first name, it would simplify things…lol.
21. When was the last time you lied? Honestly… That’s between the Lord and me. I try to be as honest as possible. Discretion is lying to some people, however “Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.” – James 5:19-20 KJV
22. What’s something that amazes you?
❤ ❤ The love of God!!!!! ❤ ❤
23. Would you rather be the first person to explore a planet or be the inventor of a drug that cures a deadly disease? Absolutely invent a cure for deadly disease! (but on a day off I would explore whatever God wants to show us! His artwork is so amazing!!)
24. What is your favourite amateur activity? Blogging or writing poetry I guess is amateur… but if it’s for, from, and about God that is all that matters! People need the Lord! And they need to know how much He loves them! ❤
25. What was your first thought when you woke up this morning? I need to hurry and change out my pajamas to make it to my appointment with Dr. Buzz’s office. I am soooooo tempted to just wear them, but I don’t want everyone to think I’m crazy. I save that for my family and friends. 😉 (Thank You, God for my new comfy pjs I got for Christmas! I finally got to wear them! 🙂 )
26. What is your favourite song (at least at the moment)? Take My Life and Let It Be Consecrated, Lord, to Thee hymn
27. List someone you know, and describe them in 5 words. < 3 Jesus… loving, merciful, obedient, Holy, longsuffering! ❤
28. You can select one person from history and have them truthfully answer one question. Who would you select and what would the question be? God… why would You even make it an option for Your precious and only Begotten Son to leave You for even a moment to come and suffer such agony, pain, cruelty, torture, mockery, when You knew it was my vile and filthy rags that put Him there? I know You say it was because You love me, but how can You love me after all that You have seen me say and do… with my life… my body… my words… and my sick selfish nature? Why…WHY would You allow me to have anything to do with something as precious and Holy as the blood of Your Son! Jesus is so innocent and pure! He is Holy! Thank you for loving me enough to send Him! To even allow it. Help me to have the courage, the strength, the boldness that You say we need to have to come to Your throne! I want to be as clean as YOU make a life!!!!!!!! NO ONE CAN SAVE AND CLEANSE LIKE YOU! NO OTHER LOVE! THANK YOU< JESUS! ❤
29. Which celebrity or artist do you resemble the most?
Nowadays I have no clue, but when I was in my 20s I use to constantly be confused with a local reporter we once had in our area that set her boyfriend’s house on fire.
30. What do you want me to know?
❤ God loves you! ❤
It was a blessing answering these questions! I hope they bless you!
It’s never too late to keep on trying. Many days have come and gone since my last post, but as I have given my life to Christ years ago… every day and every thing, including every post, or pause from thereof… is yours, dear Lord. So when days pass, I leave that to you. And when you give another opportunity, I just want to praise you! I love you! Praise your holy name! While I am able, I will address that very struggle. Just to get here to post, Lord, is so challenging. It takes so much just to hold this computer. The table doesn’t come before me in a supportive way. When it is in my lap or something, it’s a balancing act. To sit, recline, or relax in bed challenges each muscle and causes a problem one way or another. It’s very distressing and very depressing. It makes me want to…
Well it has been several days, so I am dropping by to blog a note of hello. It’s so unexpected, but one of the rare chances I get right now. There is not a particular thought, though I have many that need addressing. Lord willing, I will get to them in God’s good timing. For now, this is just to keep things going. Even this note feels a little lacking, but sometimes the best way to keep a thought (of blogging) going, means even when there isn’t much to say. So Hi! Hope you are having a blessed day! God loves you!
Lord, I give up. I am ashamed to say it, but I must wave the white flag.
Lovely A of Discovering Your Happiness nominated me
for the My Weekend Be Like This Tag several days ago. I have been trying to get the pictures for that weekend that had just fallen and the one that came after. But between an unfaithful camera, a very exhausting WordPress issue with Spammers, so many little things that are far from being small, and this issue with sleeping all the time…. it is all too much for me. SO I am afraid I must disqualify myself. My Weekend(s) be like Sketchy!
I remember originally I was excited about Joseph’s new book being out… Table 41: A Novel by Joseph Suglia! 🙂
I was so excited to finally get his book in a physical form because the computer puts me to sleep no matter how much I am interested in something. Thank You, God, for his insisting on sending me a copy from him even though I had already purchased one from Amazon because somehow they lost my order altogether! Now I will be able to share it with my son! Lord, please help my neurologist, my sleep specialist, and other specialists figure out what’s going on with this falling asleep out of nowhere and sleeping sound… for hours… and still waking like I could sleep my life away. I’m missing out on my friends!
I also remember excited to share that You gave me a new ladies Bible study to attend with Keitha and Sarah! I even got some Keitha hugs, Sarah hugs, and a Kristy hug! We met on June 21st, and will meet again next week. I need to get that blog up for them!! Thank You for knowing exactly what I need through these Godly sisters in Christ!!
I remember being excited to do this tag for Lovely A (aka Miss Lovely), for all the loving birthday wishes, I still have 2 other awards as well, and have been working away on getting the poetry up. Thank You, God, for scheduled posting. That’s really been a matter of copy, paste, and schedule.
I remember that their were several things as I tried to make a post work with a weekend, but My Weekends Be Like… sleep… sleep… sleep… church… music videos… struggling with fear and depression… car issues… house issues… family issues… LIFE! Getting pictures to chronologically tell what’s happening… is just not happening. 😉
Thank you, Miss Lovely for thinking of me. May the nominees have a better chance of making you look good!

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.”
– Isaiah 55:8 KJV
You surely have that right, Lord. I would have never thought You would use me this way, nor this blog, nor pour blessings all over me with so many blogger friends and blog awards! Your love comes in so many ways that delightfully surprise us. Just as You have surprised me with the blessing of a dear Brother in Your Son’s name as a blogger friend. You allowed Stu of Something to Stu Over to nominate me for the Versatile Blogger Award tonight. Bless him and his ministry, Lord. Be His strength and His protection.
Thank you, Stu, for your thoughtfulness in nominating me! May the Lord bless you as richly and as generously as He does me in reading your blog, and being blessed with your friendship in Christ! Family in Christ! 🙂
Me and God love you, Brother!

“I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.” – Acts 20:35 KJV
What an amazing way to surprise me, to honor those who honor You, to encourage those bloggers to continue in the platforms You have given them, so that most of all those who are weak and/or without You can continue to (or for some begin to) receive the support You provide through so many who are out there blogging to share Your love!
Thank you, Margaret, for your kindness in nominating me for the Bloggers Support Bloggers Award! It is such a blessing to see God honored all over your blog with His Word! Hence the name of your blog… The Word. God always seems to give you exactly what He knows will be needed that day! I am surely enriched by it!
The Rules:
Thank the one who has tagged you for this challenge and link their blogsite.
Add the official photo in your page.
List at least 5 bloggers you like. (Suggestion: You can list up 3 bloggers that you’ve known for a long time and you can also list up 2 newbies or more. It’s up to you though!)
In 5 sentences or above, give a short description about why you love the blogger.
Tag at least 3 bloggers to do the challenge.
Put #bloggerssupportbloggers in the Tags section so whenever a blogger is looking for new blogs to read, it will be easier to find!
Blogs I Like: This will be so hard because I like so many! I follow over 300! 🙂 So I will tell of more than 5. Some are award and tag free but are based on supporting and helping others.
The nominees are just as supportive, passionate about reaching out to others, are very active in doing so. I chose them as nominees because I knew they would keep the sharing going! ** If you’re certain you did not see this note earlier, you’re right. I fell asleep before I properly finished. I type and click in my sleep. That’s when I know to shut her down. But I want you to know how supportive the nominees are as well!**
Ok, God. It’s time to give YOU some more glory! It’s not about the numbers! You know anything You give me is all about You! What You bless this poetry blog with is all Yours!
He had a pretty interesting sleep study (What Happens If You Go To Bed Too Early?) as his last post. Help him and his clients to have the restful sleep that only You can provide.
WordPress also says there have been over 3,000 views now. You always amaze me that what You whisper in my ear, or that I talk with You about would be of any interest to anyone. It’s You! They see You in anything they see good, or…
How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights! Song of Solomon 7:6 KJV
Lord, I am so excited about the love You keep spreading around in this WordPress Community, and the family of fellowship that You keeping growing among Your children that I had to start this challenge with the quote above for Day 1 because that is how I feel about You!!
