THANKS GOD FOR THE MOMENTS! I LOVE YOU!

Proverbs, Chapter 12 (Click here to read for better understanding of the connection between the scripture and the notes they inspired below.)

Lord, I love Your instruction. Help my spirit on those days that I somehow seem to resist that I may obtain Your favor. Not for some selfish gain, but I will be prepared when wicked devices come at me, some from my own soul. I want to be established by wickedness. Help me to be a virtuous woman for Your name’s sake, to be YOUR Crown. Help me to be the servant You hope of me.

Help me to be full of tender mercies, to do the work You have for me, and to be rooted in Your righteousness. Keep me from snares, from trouble, and from foolish counsel. Help me to be prudent, hard working, diligent, disciplined, truthful, healthy, encouraging, wise and mindfully careful with my words. Keep me from lies, deception, and evil. Help me to seek peace, counsel, justice, honest dealings, and to use good and glad words. Help me to choose all that You call good, and to avoid all that You call unwise, evil, and foolish. Help me to be all that You delight in, and to be grounded in Your word that I might obtain the favor that places Your hedge of protection around me.

I love You, Father!
I love You, Jesus!
I love You, Holy Spirit!

Your word in Proverbs 12 inspired me to write this poem, Lord.
It is called The Promises of Your Favor. I love anything You love to give! If it’s from You, it’s a promise kept!

The Promises of Your Favor

The promises of Your favor
Are life and preservation to my soul.
You promise they will lead me,
And keep my words good and whole.
You promise they will protect,
That they will ground and root.
You promise they will preserve
And steady my foot.
You promise wisdom and counsel
Will establish and prepare.
My spirit will be ready
No matter when or where.
Your peace and Your favor
Wait to guard and guide.
Rooted and grounded in You,
Is where my soul longs to abide.

My Proverbs Journal (Chapter 10)

IN JULY OF THIS 2020 YEAR, THE LORD GAVE ME A PROVERBS JOURNAL THAT ALLOWED ME TO READ A CHAPTER EACH DAY, AND THEN NOTE FROM THAT READING. BELOW WILL BE A LINK TO THE CHAPTER FOR EACH DAY, MY NOTES FOR THAT CHAPTER, AND SOME DAYS POETRY THAT HIS WORD INSPIRED ME TO WRITE AS WELL. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL AND STRENGTHENING JOURNEY.
THANKS GOD FOR THE MOMENTS! I LOVE YOU!

Proverbs, Chapter 10 (Click here to read for better understanding of the connection between the scripture and the notes they inspired below.)

Lord, this chapter of Proverbs is loaded with instruction from wisdom. So much of it can seem confusing and argumentative. How foolish to think our human minds can judge the wisdom of God of the universe. There is so much we do not understand with our limited knowledge and flawed experiences. Especially when we are in a constant need to call ourselves good, and are offended, even hurt to think of ourselves as evil, weak, or flawed. But until we can be honest with ourselves, we can’t begin to know wisdom. And we certainly have NO right to question You!

Thank You for trusting us with Your word, Your wisdom, Your instruction, despite our frail and flawed frame. Thank You for loving us enough to want us to have knowledge, wisdom, truth, understanding, instead of walking around with blinders on just to be some kind of super god. You are a Super and Powerful God… who loves, who saves, who forgives, who teaches, who actually suffers for Your subjects.

You allow Yourself to feel pain to save us from death. You allow Yourself to experience death to save us from eternal life in hell. You loved us too much to want heaven to be without us. You Love! And You love us! ❤

Thank You, Father! We love You too!

❤ I love You, Father God!
❤ I love You, Jesus!
❤ I love You, Holy Ghost!

Your word in Proverbs 10 inspired me to write this poem, Lord. It is called A God Who Loves Me… because that is Who You are… and what You do!

A God Who Loves Me!

A God who loves me, despite how I can be.
Who gave me wisdom to help me see.
Who sent instruction to rescue me,
To save me from lies that only deceive.
A God who loves me despite my lack.
He’s willing to give, so I can give back.
He knows my nature, and still He gives.
He tasted of death so that I could live.
A God who loves me, and lets me love Him back.
How grateful I am for that fact.

My Proverbs Journal (Chapter 8)

Proverbs, Chapter 8 (Click here to read for better understanding of the connection between the scripture and the notes they inspired below.)

Wow, Father! Wisdom wrote me a letter! :0 We all look and seek for wisdom, and she wrote us a letter! 🙂 It’s awesome that she states she was with you before the world began, and that she was thinking of us. Wisdom was thinking of me before I was even born.I didn’t even know wisdom knew me.

But then again, without Your word, I would not even know wisdom was someone I could specifically seek out to talk with. Nor understanding. Nor knowledge. YOU are my wisdom to find and seek wisdom.

Help me to hear her instruction, and to be wise enough not to refuse her. Help me to be blessed from hearing her, and watching at her gates daily, and waiting at the posts of her doors. Help me to find life in her, and favor in You. Help me not to sin against my own soul by sinning against her. Help me to love her, and to hate death.

I want to hear of her excellent things and her right things. I want to hear her truth, her righteousness, and to hate evil as she does. I want to hear her plainly! I want to receive her instruction and knowledge. I know she is right. I know how valuable and precious she is.

Thank You that she tells me what the fear of the Lord is. I need to know You hate evil, pride, arrogancy, and a froward mouth. I love her counsel and sound wisdom. I love the strength that understanding is. Thank You that she loves me too. Thank You for the letter she wrote me. Thank You for keeping Your promise in allowing me to find her. Help me to never stop seeking her, to always listen to her instruction.

My Proverbs Journal (Chapter 4)

I LOVE YOU!

Proverbs, Chapter 4 (Click here to read for better understanding of the connection between the scripture and the notes they inspired below.)

Father, help me to hear Your instruction, and attend to know understanding. I know Your law and Your doctrine are good. You are tender and beloved. Help my heart to retain Your words and keep Your commandments. Help me to get wisdom, and understanding, and not to forget them. Help me to never decline Your words. I know You love me, preserve me, and keep me.

You tell me wisdom is the principal thing, and the understanding that comes with her. I am to exalt her, to embrace her, to receive her grace and her glory, and to allow her to deliver me.

All these things You used to teach me, lead me, and helped me to receive all that You wanted for me.
Verses 23-25 You used to teach me to guard my heart with diligence, to watch what I say, to put away perverseness, and to look evil, life, and people straight on. You taught me to look on each step I took.

How You established my steps, my life, my mind, and my heart in Your love and ways.

I will always be grateful for Your love and instruction in my life. I may be distracted with being human sometimes, but I am fully trusting in Your word, and Your promises.

They have been my wisdom, my knowledge, and my understanding. There’s nothing to compare. You and Your word are so invaluable to me. I treasure You both.

❤ I love You, Father!
❤ I love You, Holy Spirit!
❤ I love You, Sweet Jesus!

Your word in Proverbs 4 inspired this poem, Lord. It’s called Let’s Pursue One Another because You tell me to pursue wisdom. So it is my message to her! ❤

Let’s Pursue One Another

Wisdom, let’s pursue one another.
I need your instruction,
and you need my obedience.
I need your knowledge
and you need my heart.
I need your understanding,
and you need me to attend.
I need you to establish me,
and you need me to exalt you.
I need you to preserve me,
and you need me to keep you.
I need you to lead my paths.
You need to me to keep looking straight ahead.
I need your grace and glory,
you need me to honor God’s word.
His promises mean so much to me,
and you means so much to Him.
He tells me so much about you,
and promises so much value.
Help me to receive the good
in trusting His word.
Help me to honor Him
in trusting You.
Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding,
Let’s pursue one another.

My Proverbs Journal (Chapter 2)

I LOVE YOU!

Proverbs, Chapter 2 (Click here to read for better understanding of the connection between the scripture and the notes they inspired below.)

Dear Lord, Your word tells me that by hearing, accepting, receiving, hiding, inclining to, applying, and doing Your word, Your commandment, Your instruction… by crying out, and lifting up my voice for Your knowledge and wisdom, and seeking after them and hide them as treasures, that I shall understand the fear of You, and find Your knowledge.

You tell me You give wisdom, and that knowledge and understanding come from Your mouth. You lay sound wisdom for the righteous. You are a buckler for those who walk uprightly. You keep the paths of judgment, and preserve my way. So that I may understand righteousness, judgment, equity, and every good path.

When Your wisdom enters my heart, and Your knowledge is pleasant to my soul, then Your discretion shall preserve me, and Your understanding shall keep me, to deliver me from the way of the evil man, that I may walk in the way of good men, and keep the path of the righteous, that I may dwell with You.

Thank You for Your promises, for Your word that combats the voice in my head that tries daily to falsely convict me, to discourage me, to convince me how much You must surely despise me. Thank You for uprooting me out of my past and the condemnation that tries to drown You out with voices of the past… some that were mine, some that were not, and some that convinced me they were mine but never were from day one.

Thank You for letting me hear Your voice, Your whisper, Your knowledge, Your wisdom, Your understanding, and most beautifully Your love. THAT is where fear of You is found. It is the treasure of life, heart, mind, body, and soul to understand that fearing You is loving You because Your love is NEVER about torment. Only pure understanding of Your love for us.
