According to Pastor Morris, I have been married twice. My 1st husband was the Law. My 2nd husband is Jesus Christ. Those of you who voice your concern because I am blessed with singleness will either be disturbed or comforted by this. Let me help you all to be comforted. I am still married to my 2nd husband and will be till the day I die… AND in eternity! His love will NEVER DIE!! ❤ Jesus is the LOVE OF MY LIFE!! ❤ He is the LOVER OF MY SOUL!! ❤
“Do all things without murmurings and disputings: that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.” – Philippians 2:14-16 AKJV
“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.” – Isaiah 61:10 KJV
Sin… it is so complicated and suffocating. Once you’ve stepped into it, It’s hard not to sink from the weight of its heaviness. The burden of guilt and shame Can follow like a shadow in the night. In a moment of sin, I walked myself into the dark. I submerged myself in danger. As I sank so fast and so deep, my soul cried out for help. Too distracted to hear a call from within, I held onto the hand of sin. Together we kept me from escaping, Pretending things were getting better, And at times believing nothing was wrong. In a moment of compassion The Maker of my soul charged forth and spoke. With His hand reaching to pull me out, He rescued me from the bottomless pit. Even as I fought to stay behind with my friend sin, My God knew where my heart really was. Just before…
“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. – Galatians 3:26-28 AKJV
“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. -Matthew 6:19-21 AKJV

I really don’t remember any toys other than coloring books & crayons my granddad use to buy me, and a small Pillsbury Dough Doll that the head came off of but would still do the famous giggle if you pushed his belly. The doll thing was strange and I really wasn’t into dolls, so I’ll go with coloring books & crayons. Oh wait! The Lord is reminding of a jump rope I earned when I was 6 years old by memorizing John 3:16 for a church bus driver! Mr. Farlough challenged me to learn it and I knew it by the next time he picked me up. It would be a few years before I really understood it, but it stayed with me for life! (the verse not the rope 😉 ) ❤ 5. What is your favorite past time activity? spending alone time with God ❤ 6. “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law” – Psalm 119:18 KJV
Today was choose any verse of your own. I am using the verse that is at the bottom of the Christmas 31 Day Scripture Writing Plan... Psalm 119:18. It’s a perfect one in describing what Your word does in opening my eyes and helping me to see… to understand. There are so many pleasures and treasures in Your word. Even my notes from church today go with this.
Looking on failures causes us to recognize You. If we keep our eyes on Jesus, we will know Him. Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus! ❤ I love that hymn! ❤
Don’t believe everything you think. You cannot be trusted to tell yourself the truth. Stay in the word. – Evangelist Jerry Bridge
