How grateful I am, God,
For the presence of the Holy Spirit.
How precious is His whisper.
Thank You for letting me hear it.
Thank You for the peace He brings
To every part of my soul.
I cannot control anything,
But am grateful He is in control.
Thank You for being so close
In such a powerfully personal way.
Thank You, Jesus, for the promise
That He came to stay.
Thank You, Holy Spirit, for ministering
To my Jesus and me,
Him in the garden of agony,
And me in all my misery.
Thank You for praying for me,
And teaching me how to trust
That Your prayers are enough,
And that God is just.
