IN JULY OF THIS 2020 YEAR, THE LORD GAVE ME A PROVERBS JOURNAL THAT ALLOWED ME TO READ A CHAPTER EACH DAY, AND THEN NOTE FROM THAT READING. BELOW WILL BE A LINK TO THE CHAPTER FOR EACH DAY, MY NOTES FOR THAT CHAPTER, AND SOME DAYS POETRY THAT HIS WORD INSPIRED ME TO WRITE AS WELL. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL AND STRENGTHENING JOURNEY.
THANKS GOD FOR THE MOMENTS! I LOVE YOU!
Proverbs, Chapter 9 (Click here to read for better understanding of the connection between the scripture and the notes they inspired below.)
Lord, if I understand correctly, in the first few verses wisdom is crying out to warn of the foolish woman. Wisdom if pleading for us to lodge with her to protect us from the evil woman who can so easily cry out herself with lies of persuasion to lead us astray, and to lower our guard to ever so deceitfully lead us to our death.
Help me to hear wisdom when she is trying to cry out to me, to warn me, to give me shelter from evil that is also trying to cry out to me. Keep me from evil persuasions. Keep me from “sweet lies” (It reminds me of friends from the past in this chapter). Thank You for keeping me from them, and for helping me to hear Your wisdom.
Thank You, God, that Your wisdom is more powerful than past persuasions that made and shaped our thinking, that molded our character… until it met YOU!! And learned of Your magnificent Love! ❤ Thank You that Your wisdom, understanding, and knowledge can renew, restore, rebuild, revive, reconcile, and remake me! Remake my thoughts! Remake my heart! Remake my spirit!
Thank You, Father God! Thank You!
