  1. Hey Gail – just checking out your post and enjoying reading your reponses and then I see my name! Thank you so very much. I hope you don’t mind that I answer the questions right here…..

    1. If you could be a character in a holiday movie, who would you be? I would want to play the angel who gets to announce the birth of Jesus

    2. What kind of holiday shopper are you? Black Friday? Christmas Eve? Yearlong hoarder? I have to admit that I do not like shopping. The crowds, the noise, the harsh lights, it can all be too much so I do as much as I can online. But I do appreciate purchasing items as inexpensive as possible.

    3. What colors are your favorite holiday decorations? silver and gold

    4. Would you rather build a snowman, go sledding, have a snowball fight, or stay inside drinking hot cocoa? If I felt well I would love to build a snowman 🙂

    5. If you were Santa Claus, what type of cookie would you want to be left out for you on Christmas Eve? grain free chips and guacamole

    6. If someone offered you a gift card to any store you wanted, which one would you choose? I would love one Half-Price Books or Earth Fare or Trader Joes

    7. Name three words that best describe Christmas for you. Jesus, love and family.

Thank you Gail for including me in this, I am deeply humbled by your kindness. 🙂

    1. PTL! You beat me to notifying you, Wendi! 🙂
Answering here is just fine! Loved your answers. I would love to build a snowman with you if my health would let me. Cold is a fierce enemy to the body. I miss it being a breath of fresh air! I’ll save you some cocoa! 😉
Earth Fare is a great choice too! Hope your Christmas is blessed and joy filled!
Me and God love you, Wendi!

      1. Thank you for understanding Gail! I am going to be taking a blogging break soon and I wanted to make sure I did this, thank you again.
Maybe someday God will allow us to meet in person and we can have a drink together……tea, coffee, hot chocolate! 🙂
Hope today is treating you kindly. God bless you.

              1. Yes we all are well……tried hard this year to sit and be still more, shopped less and didn’t get caught up in all the crazy out there. It has been really nice. Writing has been a pleasure! Blessings on you and yours this Christmas dear one!

  3. Congratulations on the tag! I’ll check out Vickie’s blog now. I loved reading your answers. No.4 is exactly what I’d do – we can be partners in crime watching the snowball fights in the comfort of warmth and hot chocolate 😊 I went to Walmart when I worked for a few weeks in Indy many years ago – we have something similar over here but on a much smaller scale and nowhere near as good or well priced. The first time I went in I thought it was bliss, spent absolutely ages in there!
Thank you for the very kind tag lovely xxxx

      1. I had to ask Mr Google what Wally World was – seems lots of people aren’t sure if it’s just a place that was featured in the National Lampoon film or whether it is/was a real place! How interesting, do you mind me asking what you did there? You’re full of surprises, Gail! xx

        1. Wally World is a nickname for Walmart. I was a 3rd shift stocker for the first 3 years. It was the only work I could get after graduating with my BA in English Lit. A common problem in our area… “being over qualified” for jobs with no experience required or simply being more educated than the person doing the hiring. I worked with people who had Master Degrees, specialty degrees and even doctors. It was a sad situation for a lot of us, but by God’s amazing grace we actually loved our jobs.
Glad I could entertain you 🙂 What was your last job doing?

          1. Aaah! That’s what confused me then, with it being a nickname for Walmart and then Google confused me even more! 😉
It is sad when you think it’s missed potential, when you can’t get the opportunities suited to your qualifications or dreams or skills. But to enjoy your job, that’s important too. My last job was one I actually loved (after some I definitely didn’t love but again, very difficult to find ones in the area you want to work in). I was a community advice & support worker. That’s the job I was let go from due to ongoing surgeries. I had a case load of individuals and families I worked with so it wasn’t the kind of thing you could leave and pick back up easily. Took me so long to get something where I was helping others (and also getting some experience in this area as I’d hoped to use my degree to be a clinical psychologist). Oh well, obviously there was a different path for me once my body started to fall apart, I just have no idea what it is yet!
What happened after Wally World for you? xx

            1. I’m sorry you had to go through that. I sometimes think that is what’s so hard about chronic illness from a mental point of view, which leads to more physical stress and exhaustion. Not being able to do what you worked so hard for, and to be made to feel like you’re a disappointment is a great discouragement. But you said it well in that God has a different path for us.
After Wally World, I worked for a Christian Book club Warehouse and loved it. My boss way my son’s former English teacher in his christian school, but I was in college and never had a chance to meet her. She was awesome. The book club was sold and moved down south.
I worked a cool factory job, but injured my back even more. My health has made it challenging to do a lot of things. As I am sure you well understand.
