I wish I had read this so many years ago! ❤
So many people need to know it’s OK to leave…
Sometimes it’s what’s best.
Thank you, Miss Lovely! ❤ God bless you!
Hello loves ❤
“If you ever find yourself in the wrong story, leave.” ― Mo Willems.
You’re allowed to leave any story you don’t find yourself in. You’re allowed to leave any story you don’t love yourself in.
You’re allowed to leave a city that has dimmed your light instead of making you shine brighter, you’re allowed to pack all your bags and start over somewhere else and you’re allowed to redefine the meaning of your life.
You’re allowed to quit the job you hate even if the world tells you not to and you’re allowed to search for something that makes you look forward to tomorrow and to the rest of your life.
You’re allowed to leave someone you love if they’re treating you poorly, you’re allowed to put yourself first if you’re settling and you’re allowed to walk away when you’ve tried over and over again but nothing has…

It’s hard not to cry my eyes out. It hit home in a very personal and unexpected way.

It felt like the 1st voice to tell me it was okay to leave something that was happening well over thirty years ago! Like someone finally gave me permission to go home, and not worry about it any more. No fear. No judgment. Just permission, and freedom. With a very long overdue hug! ❤
It was very much a good thing. Me and God love you, Lovely A! ❤

I recently heard a story of a woman at a singles event. As a man was approaching her, her gut told her to avoid this man. He was kind of pushy, asked her to dance, talked about his life for hours, and how he just got out of prison, and wanted to start over. She was being nice, listened, danced with him. After the dance he pursued her even more, she still had this feeling she shouldn’t get involved with him but….he pushed her to the point they got married! She never felt like she could tell him no or felt like she had permission to leave. She didn’t realize SHE HAD THAT POWER!!

Unfortunately, I can believe that. What people teach, what people learn, and what people believe create what is lived out. What a beautiful God we have to send us souls to let us know we can leave, and to let us know that He offers forgiveness.
I pray she is safe and doing well.
